She made it! She made it! Congratulations to Victoria for making it onto the new TMHS Varsity Volleyball team! Way to go Tori!

Megan's Photography

My sweet niece is a talented photographer. While visiting she kindly took photos of my girls. Thanks Megan!

Arches National Park & Four Corners

On the way home, we decided to make the drive fun and stop and sight see. Of course we had to stop at Arches National Park. It is one of our favorites!

We drove to Four Corners Monument and spent a whole 10 minutes in the park, until they made us leave because it was "closing time". I still can't believe we drove that far, paid to get in, all for 10 minutes. But, it was worth it. We were able to get Tiffany's picture on the Four Corners! So, now all of our daughters have been there.

Salt Lake City, Utah - Temple Square - Ensign Peak

We took a brief trip to Salt Lake to see some of my family. It was wonderful to see my Grandmother again and many other relatives. My Aunt Pat hosted a BBQ and it was fantastic to see a lot of the family again. Thanks Aunt Pat! Here are a few pics of our brief time in Utah, on a our way home to Texas.

We hiked to Ensign Peak. Gorgeous views of the Salt Lake Valley!

Our Short Seattle Trip

This is my brother Todd and his wife Karen. They have three kids. Their oldest just got married and the other two gals are in college. We popped over to see their family for a quick visit. It was so much fun to see them again. Karen of course was an excellent host and such a great cook! Thanks for your hospitality. While there, Todd gave us the fastest sightseeing trip through Seattle! My girls saw some great places and had such a great time with their cousins. The pics below, say it all!

Avery Family Reunion - Grandma Avery's 70th Birthday Bash!

We were fortunate enough to have another family reunion to attend, this time to celebrate Ron's mother's 70th birthday! We all stayed at the Avery's home in Grandview. What fun we had together again. Swimming, eating, swimming, eating...the cycle continued for a few days!

After the reunion was over, we stayed behind and helped Gary with his fingers surgery {He had a little accident [GASP] with a table saw.} and Carol with her Chemo. Both did very well and are still doing very well.

Cousins going on a L-O-N-G walk to see the llamas, the grape vineyards, and pick {steal...Grant!} cherries!

Llamas.

The family reunion shoe kicking contests....Ron was the winner with the longest kick, Rich won for the highest kick...up to the second floor roof of the house! {It was so funny!}

Kickin it by the tents in the back yard where all the kids slept. I have to say the 10 person tent we bought at Costco was GREAT!

Gary's hand after surgery. The bandages looked like a puppet, so....we named it "Blade" the puppet.

Uncle Rich with his "new" Donny & Marie guitar. I think I saw a tear roll down his cheek, he was so happy to have it back after all these years...and in one piece too!

Gary's birthday present to Carol.
