Mall of America - Minnesota and quick trip into Wisconsin

We decided to visit the Mall of America in Minnesota http://www.mallofamerica.com/. On the way we took a 30 minute detour and had lunch in Wisconsin since none of us had been there before. The Mall of America was pretty incredible. There were several anchor stores, a couple of my favorites were Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. We visited the Lego store and all stood in awe of the large Lego statues all around us. The clock and dinosaurs were a work of art. In the middle of the mall you will find the Nickelodeon Amusement Park http://www.nickelodeonuniverse.com/. Some of the best rides were the coasters. Nothing too scary, just good fun. The kids and adults liked the Orange Pepsi coaster. It is the longest indoor roller coater in the world. Jonathan took his first coaster ride on this one. I was so excited for him to go on a roller coaster. I was proud of him. That takes courage to step out of your comfort zone to do something like that. Of course I had to document the ride in photos! This was a big moment. :O) The fairly odd parents coaster was not your typical coaster. It looked like a regular roller coaster but the only difference was the car spins. (for the adults it made us dizzy just to watch it. But for the kids they couldn't ride it enough!). Another fun coaster was the Sponge Bob coaster. For the weak folk most just stood back and let their knees shake. But for us brave folk we took it head on! And let me tell you...it was a blast! If you look closely at the photo (see Sponge Bob roller coaster post for pic.) you can see Ron and I in the back seats and the entire front row is Tori, Caitlin, Courtney and Grant (he is behind the blue pole...I promise he was on the ride!)
