In a small city called Prosser, Washington each Fall they have a hot air balloon festival.
We arrived before sunrise and watched as the balloonaires (is that even a word? Haha, now it is!) prepared their balloons for flight. It was an awesome sight to see as the balloons were in the sky as the sun was rising over the hills. Afterwards we went to the Prosser street festival and farmer's market. The girls had a great time shopping for jewelry!
Later that evening the city of Prosser had a balloon lighting show at the high school football stadium. It was cool, now keep in mind it wasn't Disney cool, but for a small town I'd say it was a pretty great effort!
