Brianne's Birthday Parties!

Seeing that Brianne was turning 9 and after that ripe old age, I no longer throw "friend" birthday parties...we decided to have some fun!

Brianne invite several friends and we had a,"Hollywood Theatre Under the Stars!" All of her friends came over Saturday evening for a pizza dinner, and countless snacks and goodies to eat while they sat outside in the back yard and watch a movie projected on the side of the garage! It was so much fun!

We had a "red carpet" rolled out the front door and down the sidewalk, covered in confetti stars. The older girls were dresses as assistants and opened car doors for the guest. They also took pictures of all of the guests as they arrived and walked the red carpet.

In the back yard we had strung white Christmas lights across the yard and we hung black, gold and sliver glitter starts from the lights. We set up a concession stand and each of the kids selected a spot to sit for the movie. It was a success and a lot of fun! The older girls already asked me if we could do something like it for their 16th birthdays but with more lights, stars, music and food.
